Is there a deadline after the accident that I need to file my case by?

In most cases, there is a statute of limitations governing how much time can pass before a plaintiff can no longer file a personal injury case. With different types of accidents, the statute of limitations changes. It can range from several months to several years. If you aren't sure how much time you have to file a claim, contact us today to learn the specific rules for your case.

How much does it cost to hire your firm?

We operate on a contingency fee basis. What does this mean? We don't charge any fees upfront and only require payment if we are successful in winning compensation on your behalf. This means that you pay nothing out of pocket, with our legal fees coming out of the settlement or verdict. As well, the initial consultation to review your case is free. There is no risk in contacting us to learn what we can do for you!

What are the differences between a civil and criminal court?

There are many differences between civil and criminal court. When a case is in criminal court, the defendant faces prison times, but in a civil case, the penalties are monetary. Most importantly, however, is the level of evidence and argument required to secure a legal ruling. While criminal cases require a prosecutor to prove guilt beyond reasonable doubt, a civil case plaintiff needs only to establish a preponderance of evidence.
